Advantages

Simultaneous strength-ductility improvement

Solution treatment eliminates acicular martensite and reduces dislocation density, while aging precipitates reinforcing TiB, resulting in a yield strength of 1202.5 MPa with an elongation of 9.9%.

Eliminates martensitic structure

Solution treatment promotes the decomposition of the original acicular α′ martensite into an α+β dual-phase structure, significantly reducing dislocation density and low-angle grain boundary ratio, thereby improving ductility.

TiB precipitation strengthening

Aging induces substantial precipitation of the TiB phase, strengthening the material through precipitation hardening.
