Advantages
Melting point below room temperature
Hydrogen bonding between P–OH of TDPA and P=O of TOPO disrupts the ordered TDPA network, reducing the melting point to below room temperature.
Effective stripping
The liquid-state eutectic enables Li stripping; with 2.15 mol/L H₂SO₄ for 3 h, stripping efficiency exceeds 98%.
Excellent Li/Na separation
Li precipitation efficiency >97.5% from LPML while Na precipitation <0.3%, giving an extremely high separation factor.
