Incorporating naphthenic oil or waste cooking oil significantly suppresses the excessively rapid evaporation of No. 120 solvent oil at ambient temperature, helping maintain workability.
Blended diluent systems show smaller modulus fluctuations and more regular rheological trends at medium and high temperatures; the WCO-containing partially volatile system is particularly effective at maintaining structural stability.
A rational combination of diluents with different volatility characteristics can better balance workability, volatilization behavior, and rheological response than a single diluent.
