This study compares the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of a low-alloyed Zn-Mg-Ca alloy processed by equal-channel angular pressing and cold rolling, revealing that distinct dynamic recrystallization mechanisms (continuous vs. twinning-induced) critically govern the strength-ductility balance.
