Ultrahigh 1O2 yield in NIR-II
Intercalating I-functionalized isophthalic acid into ZnAl-LDH interlayers simultaneously narrows the bandgap for NIR-II excitation and suppresses reverse intersystem crossing, prolonging triplet lifetime by 3 orders of magnitude and achieving a record relative 1O2 quantum yield of 1.89.
