MoO₂ nanowire arrays

Low overpotential, durable OER

Compared to MoO₂ nanosheets, these vertically grown nanowire arrays expose more active sites, have a lower degree of Mo⁴⁺ oxidation and smaller crystallites, leading to a lower onset overpotential and better stability for the oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline media.
