Interfacial kinetics reveals interference source
This work integrates voltammetric signals and interfacial simulations to reveal that Pb(II) double peaks in Pb(II)-Cu(II) systems originate from parallel deposition on Cu deposits, providing new insights for electroanalysis reliability.

The existence of the second peak was controlled through the adjustment of experimental conditions.
