Al₂O₃/Ti₅Si₃ Composite Coating

High-temp oxidation resistant

Unlike conventional protective coatings for TiAl alloys, this composite coating combines a continuous Ti₅Si₃ layer with discontinuous Al₂O₃ layers, providing both surface passivation and diffusion barrier for prolonged high-temperature oxidation protection.
