Low overpotential, high stability

This study develops a 2D amorphous/crystalline heterophase RuCeOx catalyst via Ce doping and lattice engineering, which modulates Ru-Ru bonds and electronic configuration to activate the oxide path mechanism, achieving both high activity and stability in acidic OER.
